Cheltenham Racecourse is on the doorstep and the shop, theatres and nightlife of Cheltenham is a few minutes’ drive away. Behind the hotel is the village of Prestbury. Just half a mile (800 metres) away is Cleeve Hill. At 300 metres (1000 feet), it is the highest point in the Cotswolds and has access to the Cotswold Way path.
